ABC Translation is an international company specialising in certified translation and every step that makes documents valid in another country: apostille, diplomatic legalisation, notarial certification, powers of attorney and document retrieval. We also provide interpreters and court interpreters.
Our Croatian branch works with clients throughout Croatia and with Croatians living abroad. We work with permanent court interpreters for more than 35 languages, and through our international network we can obtain and certify documents in other countries too.
How we work
For every document we first check exactly what the receiving institution requires. That way we avoid unnecessary certifications and repeat trips to offices. You receive the quote in advance, with price and deadline, and one contact person handles your case from start to delivery.

Translations carrying the stamp and certification clause of a court-appointed interpreter, accepted by courts, police, registry offices and foreign authorities.
- Apostille
We obtain the apostille on Croatian public documents for use in Hague Convention countries, with translation if required.
- Embassy & consular legalisation
Multi-step certification for countries outside the Hague Convention: ministry first, then the embassy or consulate.
- Certified true copy
A notary confirms that the copy matches the original, so you don't have to hand over the original.
- Power of attorney & signature certification
Bilingual powers of attorney with a certified signature for property, inheritance, banks and authorities, in Croatia and abroad.
- Document retrieval
We obtain documents from registry offices, courts and registers and send them anywhere, apostilled and translated.
- Interpreting
Court interpreters for notary signings, weddings, court and meetings, in person or online.
- Documents for foreign workers
Translation and certification for residence and work permits, for employers, agencies and workers themselves.
